Seamus Lake House

Seamus Lake House is 151 land impact with an area of roughly 31x23. It is another version of my Lake House. The first one was the Summer Island Lake House which you can read here.

This house has several levels.
On the first floor, it has the decks with double doors that leads into the living/dining area and the kitchen. There is a back entrance near the stairs that goes up to the second floor. There is also a small room next to the stairs.
The staircase leads to a spacious family/entertainment area. There are 2 rooms on this floor. The double doors leads out onto a large balcony. From this balcony, one can go down the stairs to the gardens below. You can also enter one of the rooms through another double door.
The third floor which is part of the roof is a usable spacious attic. The fourth floor has a small room with a double door that leads onto a small balcony. Here is the highest point of the house and you have a great view.
I felt the house was incomplete without landscaping and so I have made a little hill to set the house on and added a small forest and path around it. I have also added a couple of deers in the backyard.
The house itself is 151 land impact on a 31x23 area while the landscaping is 162 land impact on a 60x48 base. This would make a good skybox too. I have made 3 rezzer boxes, one for the house only, one for the landscaping only and one for the house and landscaping together.
As usual, my houses are copy, mod, no transfer, partial mesh and unfurnished. Some scripts are no mod.
Seamus Lake House is now available for 699L at my in-world store and the Marketplace. Please see the demo at my in-world store http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Farshore/34/59/1028

MaryJane's Little Horse Farm

This is another of my Red Barn series.

MaryJane's Red Barn House is 115 land impact and sits on a 32x20 area.

As in the picture, it is a double storey-house with a front porch and 3 dormers. Apart from the single door entrance, there is also the double-door that leads out to the porch. There is also another door that leads to the kitchen area.

Here's a side view of the house.

The living/dining area.

The kitchen area.

The open area upstairs with a dormer on one side and 2 sun-roof on the other side to let the lights in.

The 2 rooms upstairs.

After finishing the house, I felt that it was incomplete without a horse stable and so I did one:)

This stable has 3 spacious stalls. I built it specifically for the ABC horses because they are BIG horses. Each stall can fit a mare and her baby comfortably. I also fitted fences upfront so that I can watch the horses graze from the front porch.

And since it is a little farm, I also added small plots of earth for vegetables. In the picture above,  there are the apple tree plot, the lettuce plot and the carrot plot.

A view of the little horse farm from above.

MaryJane's Little Horse Farm sits on a 53x48 base. Altogether it is 317 land impact. The stable is 51 land impact while the landscaping is 137. The fences is 14.

As usual, they are copy, mod, no transfer, partial mesh and unfurnished. Some scripts are no mod.

MaryJane Red Barn House is now available for 699L at my in-world store and the Marketplace. Please see the demo at my in-world store.

The Lady in Red Townhouse

It's been a while since I made a Townhouse and The Lady in Red is a 3-storey old-style City home. It is narrow and long and the porch is heavily decorated thus I named her the Lady in Red.

This building can be for a large family or a hostel or even a small hotel. It has a long foyer entrance with beautiful wallpaper, double-doors that leads to the kitchen and living/reception area. It has a large kitchen with a back door.

It also has 3 rooms each on the second and third floor.

The above picture is the 2nd floor corridor and the 3 rooms with different wallpapers.

View of the 3rd floor corridor and the different wallpapers in the 3 rooms.

The building is 148LI and 11.5 x 27.5. I have also included optional landscaping which is 19LI.

The Lady in Red Townhouse is copy, mod, no transfer, partial mesh and unfurnished. Some scripts are no mod. It is available for 599L at my in-world store and the Marketplace. A demo of the house is available for viewing at my in-world store.

The Blue Lady

This is another house inspired by the late 19th and early 20th century homes. I love how they dress up the exterior of their homes with decorative trimmings and so I've named this house The Blue Lady coz she is dressed in blue and white trimmings.

View from the porch using sunset and pixlr.

This house would look great in the City or near the waters as I have pictured here.

View from the side. This house has 3 bedrooms and 1 usable attic.

Another view of the side and back.

View of the landscaping and decorative trimmings.

This house fits a narrow 16x25 plot. The entrance has a long verandah/porch and it is big enough to put a chair or two.  Inside it has a spacious living/dining area with a little balcony on the side. The kitchen is partitioned and there is a side door out to an open deck behind. There is a small patch of land where you can even add a small vegetable or herb garden.

Upstairs are 3 bedrooms with one of the room having a small balcony. On the third floor is the attic where a teenager might want to live in privacy. Except there is no door. So no privacy!

The house is 133 land impact and the optional landscaping is 53 land impact.

The Blue Lady is copy, mod, no transfer and partial mesh. Some scripts are no mod.

I have added rezzers and non-rezzers.

The Blue Lady is now available for 599L at my in-world store and the Marketplace. Please see the demo of this house at my in-world store.

the Pair...finally

After what feels like forever, I finally got my pair of Silver Tobiano Snowflakes Gypsy Vanners.

They're both offsprings of Moonlight Rendezvous(pictured below) but from different mothers. They even have stars on their face which daddy doesn't have. The downside is that neither have matching mane and tails.

Breeding horses are expensive in my opinion. These beauties give birth to live foals and you can't box them and keep them in your inventory. Which means your herd will multiply exponentially and if you don't have the lindens and the prim space, you'll have to start sending them to the cloud ranch even if it breaks your heart. It's also difficult to get the traits that I want because I have no idea which are dominant and recessive.

I had to send some of my pretty Sorrel Leopard Bashir Curlies to the cloud ranch. That hurt.

But that didn't stop me from getting a pair of these starter costume horses, last year's Day of the Dead. The horse in the middle is a Lusitano with the 2014 Anniversary coat. And that KittyCat sitting on the haystack is Amos my 1368-day-old Day of the Dead kitty. They're all ready for Halloween!

The past 2 weeks Moon has been wearing last year's Halloween Gift from Coco and riding on La Bella. It was only fair to take a picture with my beloved Amos, MaryJane and Cassandra too. I had to take out the pumpkins in the crate coz MaryJane wanted to sit in it. Typical cat!

Moon and Ave Maria my Black Tovero Mustang. Today I got tired of the witchy outfit and changed into this year's Halloween Gift from Coco. Moon is also wearing leggings Neve, hair from Exile and shoes from {kokoia}.

I took the first and last picture on ultra high for the shadows while the others were on med graphics. I don't know. I kinda prefer the medium graphics.

Therein ends my non-building blogging. Have a good weekend!

Sea Dove Beach House

Sea Dove Beach House is a 5 room double-storey house in shades of white and cream. It is perfect for a family.

A collage of the exterior of the house. The verandah and balcony is big enough to add a couple of wicker chairs and sofa. Bright red flowers in window boxes and planters brightens up the white house.

The foyer, living and dining area are one big open space and the kitchen is big enough to add a breakfast table or a small family area. Below is one room with access to the kitchen and the foyer.
Upstairs are 4 rooms and a very spacious family area.

The Sea Dove Beach House is 196 land impact while the landscaping is 73 land impact. It is copy, mod, no transfer and partial mesh. I've included rezzers and non rezzers boxes.

You can get the Sea Dove Beach House for 599L at my in-world store or the Marketplace. Please see the demo of this house at my in-world store.

Emily Victorian Beach House

I have wanted to do a Victorian styled beach home forever and this is it! It's blue and white and there's the cladding and the worned white brick.

I especially love the open deck and the pergola.

The double-door from the living area opens up to the deck and pergola. A perfect view to watch the sunset.

A collage of the living area, kitchen and dining. Also the cute entrance porch.

A collage of the little balcony, the upstairs landing area and the 2 bedrooms.

Another view of the deck and pergola.

Emily at sunset.

This house is 126 land impact and sits on a 21x19 base. It is copy, mod, no transfer and partial mesh. I have also included the landscaping which is 52LI.

I have also added rezzers and non-rezzers for which ever you prefer.
